Bay Area Learning Academy / BALA serves the community by providing a safe, comfortable, supervised after-school environment for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. As an “After-School Home”, we strive to provide children with the love, attention and assistance that they would receive at home.
Our program promotes self-esteem and provides opportunities for positive learning experiences. BALA believes in educating and nurturing children to build their confidence in their studies and in their life. We recognize and celebrate the greatness in all children.
BALA children complete daily enrichment work in Math and Language Arts. A variety of recreational, enrichment and creative learning activities include Science, Art, and Mandarin. A large part of BALA’s strength is based on our integration of moral values with the love of learning.
